Kids and Teenagers

Normally children drink water more often and much more. First of all, their lifestyle is more active: they move a lot, play games, spend time in the fresh air. Second, it is caused by age specifics of the body. Tissues of the kids contain only 25% of proteins, fats, carbohydrates and mineral salts and 75% of water. Basic metabolism of kids and teenagers is 1.5 - 2 times faster than the adult’s metabolism because the young body changes rapidly.

So, parents who want their kids to be developing harmoniously and healthy shall control what their children eat and drink. That’s not a secret that sweet means tasty for the kids. So they prefer drinking soda and juices with high sugar content which is harmful for the teeth at least.
